Pop Hack Wordpress Theme ScreenshotBob did such a nice job with the Pop Blue Wordpress theme that I have decided to release my changes to the Pop Blue theme for everyone to download and enjoy on their own Wordpress blog.

Bob is the original author and he has released the Pop Blue theme under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 License. This means that you are welcome to use or make any changes to the theme, but please leave the link to him in the footer.

I will ask the same — if you choose to take my link out of the footer, at least link me somewhere on your blog.

Included in the theme is a file called logo.zip. This includes a PSD and font for the logo. The icon in the logo is part of the free Tango Desktop Project.

Also included in the theme is iconize that shows an icon next to links corresponding to what type of file is being linked.

It seems the Wordpress themes site isn’t accepting uploads at the moment due to a new subversion project. We will have to wait until they open it back up before the theme is released on themes.wordpress.net.

Lifehacker

This post is late. I have busier than a a one-armed paperhanger with a case of the hives lately, but I would like to thank Lifehacker.com for the featured article linking to Appupdater: Apt-Get for Windows.

This is big news for a small time blog like Hackosis.com and maybe it will continue in the future. ;)

I hope the new changes will serve you well. The Category links have been moved to the Archives page. Adbrite ads have been added above the post content instead of Google Adsense ads. Only click the ads if you are truly interested in the links.

I have really enjoyed the first couple of months here at Hackosis. I also have a lot of fun creating articles and writing about what I love.

Some interesting facts:

  1. Hackosis was mentioned @ fsckin.com
    - toward the bottom of the article. Thanks Wayne.
  2. Hackosis jumped to over 1,800 vistors yesterday:

    Hackosis Traffic GA

  3. Hackosis was mentioned @ br-linux.org.
  4. Hackosis was track backed @ Phone Factor
  5. Hackosis was featured @ firefox.hk

Thanks for the incoming links everyone. Hopefully there will be much more news to come. Enjoy your Monday. :)
